Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Handle escalated incidents from L1 support, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues, implementing fixes as necessary.
  • Perform code and configuration changes to address incidents.
  • Conduct unit testing and document changes before deployment into production.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and help maintain high-quality support standards.
  • Optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve team efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to defining maintenance procedures and development guidelines.
  • Provide production support and technical consultations to team members.
  • Conduct regression testing and implement network performance enhancements.
  • Share knowledge through training and knowledge transfer sessions to new team members.
  • Help validate deliverables and deployment procedures.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as per the schedule.
  • Respond to urgent incidents outside working hours and provide timely resolutions.

Key Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, C, and Oracle Database.
  • Proven experience in incident management and troubleshooting in high-pressure environments.
  • Hands-on expertise in payment domain systems and transaction processing.
  • Functional knowledge of Acquiring, Switch, and Issuing domains is a plus (expertise in at least one is highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networking, and system monitoring tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a focus on delivery.
  • Experience in financial services or payment processing.
  • Certifications in ITIL, Oracle, or relevant technologies.
  • Familiarity with automation tools for IT operations.
