JOB DESCRIPTION - Manufacturing Engineer

The position's responsibilities include the overall management of all functions within the plant to ensure smooth operation of these functions to meet company's objectives for Quality and Productivity.

He shall report directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:

1. Leader in production management to ensure the overall effectiveness of the team to meet production and quality targets.
2. Actively involved in identifying weaknesses and implement plans / procedures for continuous improvement.
3. Ensure plans / procedures are effectively carried out in a timely manner.
4. Identify training needs for all employees so as to build a strong and effective team.
5. Responsible for production/material planning.
6. Liase with customers for new/forecasted orders and delivery requirements
7. Maintain proper inventory control for products (WIP or FG)
8. Address all employees grouses / grievances.
9. Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance by all personnel and take actions on violators
10. Coordinate with local authorities' plant audits and follow up on required actions.
11. Ensure production records are well documented in accordance with ISO system.
12. Review activities, costs, operations to determine department progress toward goals and objectives
13. Identify and resolve preventive maintenance issues and equipment capacities/constraints related issues.
