Technical Support Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Technical Training and Support:

• Provide technical trainings and workshops for end-users and partners on Network Cabling Solutions.
• Answer queries and provide technical support to colleagues and customers.

2. Product Specifications and Sales Support:

• Prepare and review product specifications for customers, ensuring compliance with network requirements.
• Assist the Sales Team in promoting and specifying Network Cabling & DC solutions to customers.
• Provide quarterly updates on new products to the Sales Team.
• Assist the Sales Team with technical requests, such as product demonstrations, technical data sheets, and sample boards.

3. Customer Assistance and Demonstrations:

• Assist customers with their requests, including product demonstrations, technical data sheets, sample boards, and on-site troubleshooting for cabling faults.
• Conduct presentations and briefings for customers at the Supplier's Experience Centre.
• Liaise with Supplier and customers for Supplier Certification Training and provide support during the training.
• Provide support for sample requests and Return Materials Authorization (RMA) with Supplier.

4. Competitive Analysis and Evaluation:

• Compare and understand the features, benefits, and differentiation of Supplier's products compared to competitors' products.
• Evaluate vendors' products and make recommendations based on applicable codes, standards, and best practices.

5. Technical Expertise and Research:

• Present and demonstrate advanced testing and troubleshooting for both copper and optical fiber using Supplier Network Cable testers to customers.
• Stay updated on the latest technology, trends, and cabling standards through in-depth research.
