Engineering- To manage Costing & estimation of switchboards, etc.
- Assist in preparation of quotations, technical data, compiling brochures, catalogues & technical details, layout dimensional drawings, etc... required for submission to clients.
- Handle in-door sales enquiries / telephone sales enquiries.
- Assist Sales Engineers in following-up for orders.
- Develop & implement use of computer for costing, estimation & quotations. Set-up and improve on standardised costing method.
- Check & compare costing / estimation against actual costs for awarded job. Budget planning & control for jobs.
- Responsible for correct / accuracy of acceptable level in costing.
- Sourcing of components / parts with assistance from Purchasing Department. for better alternatives, improvements, cost effective, etc. when required.
- Assist in co-ordination work (internal or external).
- Take on added tasks / responsibilities as assigned by the superiors
- Follow the procedures of the Quality Management System for effective implementation and control
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 1- 3 years' experiences in project cost estimating in electrical engineering industry.
- Good knowledge in Switchboards/panels (marine or industrial) cost estimating experience is an advantage.
- Working location at Tuas Area
