Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Regression Test Analyst to join our team. This candidate will be responsible for automating regression testing processes, ensuring comprehensive documentation, and maintaining an up-to-date regression test pack for our platform. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to track progress, identify opportunities for process improvements, and ensure smooth execution of monthly regression tests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Documentation and Tracking:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for all processes, results, and decisions made during the regression testing lifecycle.

• Ensure thorough tracking of testing activities to enable future reference, audits, and continuous improvement.

2. Monthly Regression Testing:

• Focus on automating regression tests to minimize manual effort during monthly regression exercises.

• Handle complex scenarios, including tech-initiated server restarts, ensuring comprehensive coverage for all critical regression tests relevant.

• Collaborate with the development and operations teams to streamline the regression process and improve overall efficiency.

3. Test Case Creation and Execution:

• Build and compile automated test cases, ensuring alignment with project requirements and full coverage of relevant test scenarios.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to verify that automated test cases address all potential edge cases and business needs.

• Continuously execute automated tests and monitor for accuracy, completeness, and performance.

4. Regression Pack Governance & Maintenance:

• Establish and enforce a governance framework for the regression test pack to ensure consistency, quality, and completeness.

• Maintain and update the regression test pack, ensuring it reflects the latest application versions, new features, and improvements.

5. Review and Feedback:

• Facilitate regular reviews of test cases and test results, gathering feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve the testing process• Leverage feedback to optimize the regression automation process, increase test coverage, and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in automation testing, particularly in the context of regression testing.

2. Solid understanding of test case creation, execution, and maintaining test documentation.

3. Experience in handling complex testing scenarios

4. Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

5. Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
