ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated individual to join the POA project team in the Polymer and Composite Processing (PCP) Group. The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with aviation regulatory requirements under Production Organization Approval (POA).

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop, implement and maintain quality systems and procedures for POA activities
• Conduct inspections/testing for incoming materials, in-process production and outgoing products to uphold quality standards
• Prepare for and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and zero major non-conformances
• Prepare production exposition documentations to meet new airworthiness requirements
• Maintain accurate records of production work orders, laboratory data, methodologies, results and DOA drawings.
• Prepare presentation and reports, draft of project proposals and risk assessment/ safe work procedure documents
• Conduct material characterization, quotation sourcing, procurement for project materials
• Support the innovation and development of other polymer process technologies
• Oversee material inventory, product tooling storage while ensuing the production shopfloor is efficiently organized

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Material Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, Singapore Airworthiness Requirements, or other quality management systems will be advantageous.
• Prior experience in project management and laboratory work is beneficial.
