Junior Service Technician

We are looking for individuals who are open to learn new skill sets as a Junior Service Technician to support our newly commissioned Hull Cleaning station in Singapore.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced robotics and automation systems while contributing to the success of our operations. As part of our commitment to employee growth, this position will be groomed into a full-fledged Service Technician, capable of operating ROVs, performing onboard repairs, and overseeing operations with quality assurance and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in technical service and support for Hull Cleaning stations and operations.
• Provide basic quality assurance and technical assistance during operations.
• Participate in Hull Cleaning and Biofouling Detection activities under supervision.
• Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.
• Diagnose basic technical issues and recommend solutions.
• Contribute to quality monitoring processes.
• Learn and implement company procedures and services.

Qualifications:

• Educational background in electric/automation, electronics, mechanical/technical fields, or robotics/cybernetics, or equivalent experience.
• Basic troubleshooting and servicing skills for electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to learn and grow technical expertise with company equipment and ROV systems.
• Positive attitude and a growth mindset.
• Good organizational skills with an ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team setting.
• Interest in innovative, eco-friendly technologies.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to various locations, if required.
• Good level of English proficiency (written and oral).
• Confident using computers and Microsoft based programs.
• Valid passport.
• Able to live onboard.

Good to have:

• Some experience or familiarity with operating ROVs.
• Interest in robotics or electronics.
