Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and developing integration solutions that ensure seamless communication and data flow between various systems. This position requires a strong understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, as well as experience with APIs from various SaaS products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement integration solutions between diverse software systems to facilitate efficient data exchange.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to gather requirements and ensure successful project realization.
• Conduct data mapping and database design to support integration processes.
• Prepare comprehensive data flow diagrams and integration documentation to assist in the development and implementation of solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in system integration and database management.
• Development skills are advantageous for enhancing integration solutions.
• Manage and operating Azure API Management (APIM).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in requirements gathering, documentation, systems analysis and design.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing system integrations, with a strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of cloud services infrastructure and expertise in platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Familiarity with APIs from various SaaS products and understanding of RESTful services.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• A collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.
• Customer service orientation and a commitment to quality.
• Development skills in programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, .NET, Go) are advantageous.
