The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of prediction and planning system algorithm for high-speed autonomous driving.
• Involve, prediction and planning algorithm development, test rig set-up, and experimental validation.

Job Requirements:

• A PhD Degree in Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, AI, Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, etc.
• Strong background in prediction and planning for autonomous driving, robotics and automation.
• Relevant research or working experience in related areas will be preferred.
• Good communications skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate projects with minimal supervision.
• Able to contribute to Journal/Conference papers with good presentation skills.
• Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines
