A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a Research Scientist to conduct a study on Digitalization for Corporate Climate Risk Reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage research assistants in the day-to-day operations of the research study, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of necessary documents to obtain Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval for research activities.
• Develop research protocols and methodologies for primary and secondary data collection, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and data integrity.
• Conduct data analysis and derive insights from collected data.
• Lead the authorship of research papers for publication in top 10% highly cited journals and conferences in the field.
• Lead the authorship of a public-private co-publication.
• Achieve additional project deliverables, including the development of one service or application innovation, three technical disclosures, and two patent filings.

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. candidate in relevant fields with a research focus on environmental and social sustainability and corporate governance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present research findings clearly and persuasively to both academic and non-academic audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of researchers and industry partners/practitioners, fostering a cooperative and productive research environment.
• Strong project management and critical thinking skills to effectively manage the research process and generate insights.
• Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and guide junior researchers and students, fostering their professional development.
• Strong personal initiative and commitment to high-quality research.
