- Review technical specifications/data sheets and technical documents of individual projects.
- Liaise and coordinate with vendors & suppliers for mechanical and electrical drawings to meet customer specification.
- Attend site survey, meeting with client / consultant for project needs.
- Check all the safety related documents such as MOS, RA, SWP and Lifting plan according to project needs.
- Request to purchase required materials including consumable items for gen-set.
- Coordinate and lead factory acceptance test (FAT), site acceptance test (SAT) with customer and ensure all test reports are endorsed.
- Liaise and arrange for delivery and ensure delivery note to be endorsed by customer.
- Submit weekly project updates to management and highlight any key issues or concerns.
- Prepare and submit OMM to customer upon completion of project.
- Prepare training material, plan and coordinate on-site training.
- Liaise with customer and attend services according to the schedule.
- Maintain a proper record of all documents and communications related to the project and MRO services for auditing purpose.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers.
- Fulfil any other duties as and when required by the team or management.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years experiences in engine/genset industries.
- Must have basic knowledge in mechanical/electrical aspect of Power System & Control Panels.
- Able to read and understand schematic diagrams for genset control system.
- Able to read and understand site layout drawings and general arrangement drawing of genset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD is required.
- Good team player with ability to work independently.
- Must possess good interpersonal & communication skills.
- Possess a class 3 driving license is an added advantage.
