Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement & CollaborationPartner and collaborate widely with RMG, EASRE and Technology teams to strengthen tech risk culture, embed risk mindset and behaviours.
Engage with senior management, project steering committees on overall program strategy, objectives and outcomes. Ensure they are aligned with management expectations and bank's objectives. Provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders and escalate issues as needed. - Project ManagementProvide leadership and guidance on tech risk culture and consequence management. Stay informed about tech emerging risk and trends to ensure the tech risk culture program is dynamic and relevant.
Drive end-to-end delivery of people and risk culture related programs/initiatives which include:Identify technology related risks and behavioural patterns arising from risk incidents and process gaps.
Develop overall strategy and roadmap including defining the objectives & outcomes, approach & methodologies for Tech Risk Culture program.
Establish governance framework and tools across technology units; ensuring consistency.
Track initiatives and program status. Also provide progress updates to the governance meetings with stakeholders.Highlight risks and issues, if any. - Communications and TrainingForm a community of tech risk champions to drive change and communications.
Share lessons learnt from list of breaches and/or incidents, highlight hotspots and key themes at relevant risk forums and to technology community to further enhance technology risk awareness and culture. Conduct training sessions and awareness programs, if required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least 10-15 years of experience in technology risk management and program management preferably implementing transformation programs in Banking and Finance industry and Technology environment.
- Good understanding of understanding of technology infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity principles and risk management methodologies. Having knowledge of software development life cycle and associated technology risks and controls will be advantageous.
- Strong project management expertise, including planning, execution, and monitoring of initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills, able to deal with complexity and ambiguity.
- Proven competency in organizational agility and cross-team collaboration.
- Good analytical and quantitative skills to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes and provide effective challenge.
- Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to influence decision-making through clear storytelling; simplify complex concepts and deliver the ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- IT savvy, proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence.
