A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a motivated Research Engineer to conduct research and development work related to sustainability standards and metrics toward a sustainable environment and society.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the theories in sustainability and metrics;
  • Test the above theories with research hypotheses;
  • Design the experiments or surveys to test the above hypotheses;
  • Build the statistical models and test the models and metrics;
  • Summarize the main findings from the experiments/surveys, hypothesis testing, models and metrics;
  • Prepare for the reports and slides/posters for demonstrations;
  • Prepare for conference papers and manuscripts for journal submissions;
  • Communicate with the research team and collaborators.


Job Requirements:
  • Master's degree in civil and environmental engineering, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent fields
  • Familiar with behavioural studies
  • Knowledge of statistical software packages including R or SPSS
  • Knowledge of programming languages including Matlab, Python, and/or C++
  • Prior research experience in environment and sustainability
  • Good English writing and communication skills, independently and as a team player
  • Good publication records
