Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and oversee the schedule for NPI development builds, guiding projects from prototypes to mass production.
- Setting Expectations: Establish clear expectations and deliverables for each phase of the project, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Goal Definition: Define concise goals and objectives within the project framework, keeping the team focused and motivated.
- Facilitating Collaboration: Initiate and lead meetings to fulfill project goals and objectives, fostering collaboration and innovation among team members.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between product designers and the internal development team, facilitating discussions on design concepts, technical trade-offs, and engineering solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and relay feedback to the internal process engineering and quality teams.
- Resource Management: Lead cross-functional groups in managing resources to meet customer demand, including equipment procurement, hiring, and shop floor management.
- Supplier Relations: Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers, ensuring quality, supply, and cost objectives are met.
- Cost Management: Monitor program expenses and manage costs to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Issue Resolution: Arrange and lead reviews or meetings to address issues and develop optimal solutions that meet customer needs.
- An opportunity to work as an expatriate with an 85% deployment in either China or India locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, with knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to distill complex issues into simple, actionable plans.
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with Chinese counterparts.
