A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a Research Engineer I who will conduct cutting-edge research on large language models (LLMs) for Southeast Asian languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in the field of neural networks, natural language processing (NLP), and large language models (LLMs)
• Critically evaluate existing literature and propose new ideas under supervision
• Write papers and present the research work to a wide audience

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and above in computer science, artificial intelligence, or related disciplines
• Strong background in Python and PyTorch programming
• Excellent mathematical literacy and familiarity with linear algebra and probability theory
• Curiosity, keen observation, grit, and communication skills
• Keen observation for clues that most people may overlook
• Excellent oral and written communication in English
• Excellent teamwork, sense of responsibility, and interpersonal skills
