The NTU Career & Attachment Office plays a crucial role in guiding students towards future-ready and fulfilling professional paths by providing comprehensive support and resources. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Operations and Technology. The Head of Operations and Technology will be responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency and the Career Management System of the Career & Attachment Office under the Industry Relations Division. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can leverage technology to enhance service delivery, streamline operations, and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

1. Operations Management
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the overall efficiency of Career Services operations.
  • Streamline processes to ensure seamless service delivery to students and employers.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the quality and impact of career development programs.


2. Technology Leadership
  • Assess, implement, and manage technology solutions that align with the department's goals and improve user experience.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of career services platforms including virtual career events, databases, and software applications.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.


3. Analytics and Reporting
  • Design and implement a robust analytics framework to track and evaluate the effectiveness of career services programs.
  • Generate regular management reports that provide insights into key performance indicators and trends.
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making and continuously improve the department's offerings.


4. Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate with university stakeholders, including academic departments and administration, to ensure alignment of career services with overall university objectives.
  • Foster effective communication within the Career Services team and with external partners.


5. Team Management
  • Lead the operations & technology team fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Provide guidance on professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in operations and technology management preferably in a higher education setting and minimum 3 years of leadership experience in managing a team.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate in developing and coaching staff to achieve their career aspirations.
  • Able to build rapport, motivate and inspire young people.
