Key Responsibilities:
- Design and animate a wide range of game sprites, including characters, environments, and UI elements, adhering to the project's artistic style and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with game designers to understand and implement the visual style of the game.
- Produce high-quality pixel art and animations for game assets.
- Optimize graphics for mobile and desktop platforms while maintaining aesthetic quality.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss art-related issues, provide insights, and find creative solutions to technical challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest graphic design techniques and software.
- Assist in developing visual concepts.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to refine game visuals to perfection.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or relevant field is preferred but not mandatory based on experience.
- Proven experience as a 2D Graphics Designer or similar role, specifically in game development.
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse abilities in pixel art, character design, and animation.
- Expertise in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and animation tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Detail-oriented with an artistic eye for color, composition, and pixel precision.
- Time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
