School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) invites applications for the position of Senior Principal Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Principal Research Scientist to work on a project related to Smart Nation IoT-system Threat Analytics. The role entails the responsibility of project planning, scheduling and formulating operation management policies, coordination with stakeholders for operations management and organization of cybersecurity events like hackathons, seminars etc. The job also requires coordination with researchers for preparation and submission of reports.

Job Requirements:

• A PhD degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or any other relevant field
• 12 years of experience after PhD degree, preferably in cybersecurity research or IoT system architecture, including at least 5 years of project management experience. Applicants with a master's degree and a minimum of 16 years working experience will be considered
• A proven track record of international publications in relevant fields
• Familiar with IoT, virtualization and distributed systems
• Experience in international research collaboration, security information and event management (SIEM), malware analysis, machine learning, cyber physical systems (CPS), or security architectures/frameworks is a plus
• Proficient in technical reporting/presentations, have good verbal communication skills and be ability to work independently and in a team to realize the proposed works
