A Research Engineer I position is available in the Centre for Micro- & Nano-Electronics, School of School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Description:

The Research Engineer will work on a project to conduct the R&D of GaN-based transistors (e.g. HEMT and MISHEMT etc.) suitable for high frequency (>100GHz) applications. The roles of this position include:

• Develop fabrication process modules (e.g. ohmic, gate, interconnects etc) in wafer fabrication facility
• Fabrication, characterization and analysis of GaN-based transistors
• Assist in project management, project proposal drafting, project report drafting, slide preparation and publishing conference/journal papers
• Student project supervision (including JC and Poly students, IA Students, Final Year Project Students)

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor device processing in cleanroom and characterization tools.
• Self-driven and motivated person who is a good team player and be prepared to work independently
• Fluent in English and competent writing skills
