The School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) invites applications for the position of Research Assistant.

The main role of the Research Assistant is to assist other team members in the overall effort to run experiment and characterize key materials properties leading to the reliability analysis and lifetime prediction. Meanwhile, he/she will also help the lab maintenance and procurement tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in materials and component degradation, electrical testing and analysis
• Be responsible for certain independent research tasks
• Ensuring smooth running lab activities (equipment maintenance & operation), fixture design, purchase
• Communicate with industrial partners

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or other relevant fields
• Solid background in materials characterization / electrical engineering / mechanical engineering
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Excellent teamwork spirit
