Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is looking for an Educational Analytics Technologist who is familiar with the data warehouse systems and capable in using learning data analytics and technologies to drive data-driven educational decision making.

The Candidate will play a key role mainly in, but not limited to the following:

• Integrate data from diverse sources such as learning management systems (LMS), assessment platform, application, external APIs
• Extract, transform and load structure and unstructured data into datalake
• Ensure data quality and accuracy in data validation and transformation processes
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data warehousing and implement relevant improvements.
• Interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders using data visualization tools and techniques.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data warehouse processes, schemas, and configurations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Data engineering, Computer Sciences, Business analytics, information technology or its equivalent
• Knowledge and proficient in database management systems (eg. SQL Server, mySQL, PostgreSQL), data warehouse development and best practices as well as cloud technologies
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration
• Understanding of data modelling concepts and data architecture for analytics
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and reporting techniques (eg. Power BI)
• Proficiency in programming languages (eg. Python) and machine learning algorithms is a plus
• Experience with LMS (eg. Elentra) and educational technology tools is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This is a 1 year temporary contract position.
