Job Description

  1. Provide daily support to customer in the run and maintain of Yokogawa delivered systems/ solutions
    1. Liaising with customer
    2. Remote Technical Support via emails, telephone or other communications means
    3. Onsite Support and Troubleshooting (Including site coordination work)
    4. Routine Maintenance Work
    5. Liaising with local vendors and internal technical teams
  2. Act as a functional consultant to customers
  3. Provide standby support
  4. Configuring and maintaining of backup solutions as well as storage devices such as NAS and SAN
  5. Performing OS patching, anti-virus updates, firmware upgrading for Windows Servers, applications, database and network infrastructure
  6. Performing IP whitelisting on networking devices
  7. Any other tasks assigned by the managers in relation to the run and maintain of Yokogawa delivered systems/ solutions

 

The candidate should possess a Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology. Ideally with one year experience as a system administrator in the run and maintain of IT systems in Singapore is preferred.

  • Practical experience with the below will be advantageous
    • Virtualization – Hyper-V, VMware
    • Windows Server 2016 and 2019
    • SQL Server 2014, 2017 and MySQL 5.x
    • Network switches, Routers and Firewalls
    • Backup software  – Acronis, Veritas
    • SIEM
