Our work includes fire safety design, computational modelling, regulatory submissions, and performance-based compliance strategies in accordance with SCDF guidelines and the Fire Code.

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Engineer to join our growing team. You will work under the guidance of a Senior Fire Consultant and gain hands-on experience in fire safety engineering design, CFD modelling, and evacuation simulations.

This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early career engineers who are keen to build a strong technical foundation in fire engineering and performance-based design.

Key Responsibilities

Fire Safety Engineering Design:

• Assist in the preparation of fire safety engineering reports and design proposals.
• Support performance-based fire safety designs in compliance with the Singapore Fire Code and SCDF requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions and coordination with project teams.

CFD Modelling and Meshing:

• Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling for smoke control and fire scenarios.
• Develop and refine models using software such as Autodesk, PyroSim, FDS, or ANSYS.
• Analyse simulation results and prepare technical documentation.

Egress and Evacuation Simulation:

• Conduct evacuation and crowd movement simulations using tools such as Pathfinder or Simulex.
• Evaluate evacuation performance and propose design improvements where necessary.

Documentation & Coordination :

• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and presentation materials.
• Liaise with architects, M&E engineers, and regulatory authorities where required.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with fire dynamics, smoke control, or performance-based design is an advantage.
• Experience or exposure to CFD and evacuation modelling software (e.g. ANSYS, PyroSim, Pathfinder) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
