Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to join a leading banking technology team. The role focuses on middleware integration, API development, and message-based system connectivity, supporting critical banking platforms and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support middleware and integration solutions across banking systems.
• Build and maintain APIs, message queues, and service orchestration workflows to ensure reliable system connectivity.
• Apply integration patterns and queue optimization techniques to support high-throughput, low-latency environments.
• Participate in middleware operations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in middleware and integration platform development.
• Strong expertise in middleware integration, API development, and message queue optimization.
• Proven experience with integration patterns, message queues, and service orchestration.
• Solid understanding of system connectivity and middleware operations in enterprise environments.
• Experience working in banking or financial services environments is highly preferred.

Added Advantage

• Experience in banking operations analysis, creation of banking operation procedures, and operational planning.
• Basic knowledge or hands-on exposure to cloud-based middleware services, such as Azure Service Bus.
