Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated graduates and junior professionals to join our NGT Program. This program is designed for candidates who do not yet have experience with core banking platforms (or minimum experience) but who demonstrate strong technical foundations, solid banking knowledge, and an excellent learning attitude. Successful candidates will be fully trained and certified on leading core banking technologies. The role offers a long-term career path in core banking systems, wealth management technology, and large-scale banking transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation, upgrade, migration, and production support of banking applications to ensure seamless operational continuity
• Support banking operations by processing accounts, payments, transactions, and securities with accuracy and compliance
• Participate in system configuration, execute functional testing, and validate data to guarantee system integrity and performance
• Assist in analyzing and documenting functional and technical requirements to support solution design and development
• Support batch processing, manage interfaces, and perform data reconciliation to maintain data consistency across systems
• Collaborate effectively with business, operations, compliance, and IT teams to align technical solutions with business needs
• Participate in incident investigation and root cause analysis to resolve operational issues and improve system reliability
• Prepare operational reports to provide insights and support decision-making processes

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, Finance, Banking, or Financial Engineering
• Basic working knowledge or academic exposure to SQL for querying and managing databases
• Fundamental skills in Linux/Unix environments for system operations and scripting
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Shell, or Java for automation and development tasks
• Fundamental understanding of REST APIs to support integration and communication between systems
• Experience with Git and version control systems to manage code changes and collaboration
• Understanding of batch processing concepts to support scheduled data workflows
• Theoretical knowledge of banking and financial concepts including retail banking, wealth management, payments, bank accounts, securities, KYC, AML principles, transactions, orders, settlements, and corporate actions
• Strong learning capability and curiosity to adapt and grow in a dynamic environment
• Structured and analytical thinking to solve problems and optimize processes
• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in deliverables
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas and collaborate with stakeholders
• Client-facing professionalism to represent the organization positively and build trust
• Strong discipline in documentation to maintain clear and comprehensive records

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 0 to 3 years of professional experience; open to graduates and junior professionals eager to develop in core banking technologies
