Preferred Qualifications
- Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks using industry best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product stakeholders to define automation strategy.
- Perform automated regression, functional, and performance testing.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or ServiceNow.
- Ensure test coverage, reliability, and continuous improvement in automation processes.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production and test failures.
- Mentor junior QA/automation engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing / Automation Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in tools such as:
- Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages:
- Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience with API testing tools:
- REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI
- Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools:
- JIRA, TestRail, ALM
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools:
- Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
