An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Platform Engineer to take ownership of enterprise integration platforms, focusing on Informatica Cloud and SnapLogic. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in ensuring the stability, security, and operational health of critical technology infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Manage the complete lifecycle of Informatica Cloud (IICS) and SnapLogic platforms by overseeing upgrades, patches, feature adoption, compatibility planning, and vendor coordination to ensure seamless operations.
• Take ownership of platform operations by maintaining high levels of availability and performance through robust monitoring, alerting systems, incident management processes, root cause analysis (RCA), and strict adherence to service level agreements (SLA/SLO).
• Oversee environment and configuration management across development, quality assurance, and production stages to guarantee configuration consistency, controlled deployments, secure agent/groundplex management, and optimal connectivity/security configurations.
• Implement rigorous security measures including access control protocols, secrets management strategies, audit support for regulatory standards such as SOX, ISO, GDPR, and uphold platform configuration as well as connector usage standards.
• Drive ongoing improvements by identifying ways to reduce operational risks, optimise platform performance metrics, address technical debt proactively, and assess potential risks arising from vendor lifecycle changes or architectural constraints.
• Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders as the primary technical contact; provide guidance on platform limitations and best practices while coordinating efforts with architecture teams, security specialists, and external vendors.
• Support delivery teams by enabling efficient integration builds through reliable platform support mechanisms that foster trust and interdependence within project groups.
• Champion compliance initiatives by ensuring all activities align with established governance frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to enterprise integration environments.
• Monitor emerging trends in cloud connectivity and hybrid architectures to recommend enhancements that future-proof the organisation's integration capabilities.
• Document operational procedures meticulously to facilitate knowledge transfer within the team and ensure business continuity during transitions or incidents.

What You'll Need

• At least 5 years' experience working with enterprise integration or middleware platforms
• Hands-on expertise with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), including Secure Agents setup, CDI/CAI modules usage, and runtime configuration adjustments.
• Proven proficiency in SnapLogic technologies such as Groundplex/Cloudplex deployment strategies, pipeline creation/scheduling techniques, and Ultra Tasks execution.
• A solid background in managing platform upgrades and patching cycles
• Experienced in incident response, deployment, testing and production
• A deep understanding of integration security principles - including authentication methods, encryption standards, secrets handling
