Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer who can design, build and deploy scalable AI systems from the ground up.

This role goes beyond feature development - you will architect core systems, make foundational technology decisions and shape the future of our AI platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Architecture

• Design system architecture for a scalable AI platform
• Decide on backend framework, model integration approach, data structure
• Build modular, production-ready codebase

AI System Development

• Integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases
• Develop proprietary logic and workflow automation
• Optimise model latency, cost, and performance

Platform & Deployment

• Build APIs and backend infrastructure
• Deploy on cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Implement security, access controls, and data governance

Strategic Contribution

• Translate business vision into technical roadmap
• Contribute to commercialisation strategy
• Prepare platform for multi-client or SaaS model scalability

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI / Django / Flask)
• Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or model APIs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)- Experience building scalable backend systems and REST APIs- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability towork in an entrepreneurial environment
