We are looking for a Research Engineer who will be mainly responsible for C/C++/C# software programming on a x64 platform in windows operating system and is required to work on software design / coding / testing / documentation for a demonstrator development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for C/C++/C# software programming on a x64 platform in windows operating system, and is required to work on software design / coding / testing / documentation for a demonstrator development. The latter comprises (i) antenna controller subsystem, (ii) central controller with GUI, and (iii) integration with other sub-systems. Proper object-oriented software approach shall be adopted where applicable.
• Work closely with the team with PI, team members, collaborators and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient completion of project milestones.
• May also be assigned to work other areas (communication research related) and administration/support depending on research project requirement and development progress.

Job Requirements:

• Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communications Engineering / Computing from reputable university.
• Proficient in C/C++/C# software programming in windows application development.
• Ability to think out of the box and to invent novel ways of solving complex technical problems independently.
• Possess good communication skills (verbal/written English) and enjoy working within a team as well as independently (with minimum guidance).

Preferred Requirement:

• Working experience in software development is preferred.
