We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Architect / Data & AI Transformation Lead with deep expertise in banking and financial services, enterprise data platforms, and AI-driven analytics. The role will lead end-to-end data architecture, governance, analytics, and AI initiatives, bridging business and technology to enable regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

The candidate will work closely with Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Business stakeholders, managing global teams and vendors while driving modernization using cloud, data lakes, AI/LLMs, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Engineering

• Define and own enterprise data architecture across Data Lake, EDW, and Analytics platforms
• Design and govern data models (FSLDM) for banking domains including Party, Product Agreement, Events, Finance, Risk, and Channels
• Oversee ETL/ELT frameworks using Python, SQL, Informatica, Hadoop, Teradata, and cloud platforms
• Ensure scalable, secure and high-performance data pipelines from heterogeneous source systems

Data Governance & Regulatory Compliance

• Implement Data Governance frameworks covering Data Quality, Lineage, Metadata Classification, Privacy, and Access Control
• Ensure compliance with BCBS 239, PRA SS9/16, SS4/21, SS2/21, SS1/21, and other regulatory standards
• Own Data Dictionary, Metadata Management, Critical Data Elements (CDEs), and DQ scorecards

AI, Analytics & Digital Transformation

• Lead AI/ML, LLM, and Generative AI initiatives for operational analytics, chatbots, reconciliation, and decision support
• Enable advanced analytics use cases such as footfall analysis, fraud/theft detection, queue monitoring, CRM insights, and predictive modeling
• Partner with business teams to translate requirements into actionable insights and dashboards
