EngineeringMain Responsibilities:
Competencies:
- Assist users in refining Equipment User Requirements Specifications (URS) and integrate operational department needs to ensure GMP compliance.
- Complete foundational design documents for the Singapore project to provide design inputs for subsequent engineering phases.
- Ensure material and energy balance in continuous production systems to guarantee process system reliability.
- Design process pipelines for both clean and non-clean areas, including auxiliary facilities, and conduct 3D design.
- Lead critical design review meetings, coordinate multi-discipline interfaces, and resolve conflicts.
- Review construction drawings from related disciplines (instrumentation, equipment, etc.) to ensure cross-disciplinary consistency.
- Conduct design gap analysis as per ASTM E2005 and record deviations during engineering changes (ECR).
- Perform 3D model reviews and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for high-risk processes.
- Lead safety design reviews in concept design (CD), basic design (BD), and detailed design (DD) stages per OSHA PSM standards.
- Develop a comprehensive pipeline installation plan, streamline construction processes, and identify key milestones.
- Supervise on-site installation quality to ensure compliance with design specifications and construction standards.
- Promote new technologies and processes in pipeline construction and approve design changes and engineering change notices (ECN).
- Manage the process pipeline team at the Singapore site, coordinate and communicate within the team, and enhance the technical and management skills of team members.
- Organize pipeline construction materials, analyze material costs and summaries, and optimize material supply plans to control project construction costs.
- Develop a risk assessment matrix for the construction process and implement mitigation plans for high-risk tasks.
- Summarize process data from design, construction, and validation, propose improvements, and explore best practices.
- Review and approve FAT and SAT documents for process pipelines at the Singapore site, establish execution procedures, and approve results.
- Transfer API pipeline technology from the Changzhou and Taixing sites in China to Singapore.
- Promote the localization of technology in the new site, ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations and market practices.
- Lead technical updates and adaptations to ensure seamless integration of technologies between locations.
Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Background in Chemical Engineering or related process disciplines.
- Proficient in reading and writing in both English and Chinese, capable of fluent technical communication with both the local Singapore team and the technical team in China.
- Good proficiency in office software operations.
- Over 20 years of experience in environmental treatment-related work.
- Strong planning and summarizing, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to make independent judgments and solve problems.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication.
- Skilled in using MS Office and specialized 3D pipeline design software.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong logical analysis abilities, with the capability to quickly assess and manage situations.
- Strong time management skills, with a planned approach to work.
- Clear cost awareness, with the ability to handle significant work pressure.
