Job Summary

You will serve as a Full Time Site In-Charge, leading on-site operations to ensure safe, high-quality execution of tunneling works including Mined Tunnels and Cross Passages. You will collaborate closely with project teams to drive progress and uphold project standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily site operations to ensure timely and efficient work execution
  • Assisting the project manager at times in need
  • Apply knowledge of tunneling works such as Mined Tunnels and Cross Passages to oversee technical site activities
  • Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Enforce site safety rules rigorously to minimize work-related accidents and injuries
  • Supervise sub-contractors and in-house workers to maintain productivity and quality standards
  • Collaborate with site operations staff to align work progress with the project schedule
  • Verify that installations are performed according to construction drawings to meet design specifications
  • Monitor work progress and quality continuously to ensure compliance with workmanship standards
  • Attend daily tool-box meetings and communicate clear, actionable instructions to the workforce
  • Ensure full understanding and compliance with project requirements and scope of work
  • Prepare detailed Daily Reports and Production Reports to document site activities and progress
  • Strong skills in interpreting and reading drawings
  • Proficient in preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) will be advantage
  • Must be knowledgeable in AutoCAD usage and functions
  • Fluent in English
