Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily and nightly road works inspections across assigned routes.
• Check workmanship, reinstatement quality, and traffic control safety measures.
• Identify non-compliance, unauthorized works, and unsafe site conditions.
• Verify validity of road work permits and ensure adherence to permit conditions.
• Record and report findings with photos, GPS tags, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports promptly after each inspection cycle.
• Attend LTA briefings, training sessions, and competency assessments as required.
• Maintain professionalism and clear communication with contractors and the public.

Qualifications

Education

• Certificate in Pavement Construction and Maintenance from the Building and Construction Authority (BCA),
  or an equivalent qualification approved by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil, structural, or engineering works.
• Prior experience in road inspection, site supervision, or quality control preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong observation and reporting skills.
• Familiar with Traffic Control at Work Zone standards (training course required).
• Physically fit to conduct field inspections and work outdoors.

Other Requirements

• Must attend LTA competency briefings or courses as required.
• Must be able to work day and night shifts (rotational).
• Must wear high-visibility safety attire during duty.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
• Must be full-time and readily contactable during operational hours.

Work Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM (split into shifts)
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Work Location

Across public roads and work zones in Singapore (island-wide coverage).
