Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Piping Engineer to lead and coordinate piping engineering activities for oil & gas EPC projects. The role is responsible for managing piping design deliverables, ensuring technical quality, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities in compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee piping engineering design activities, including layouts, material selection, and stress analysis.
• Prepare, review, and approve piping design deliverables such as P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, and material take-offs.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and I&C disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Perform and review piping stress analysis in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements.
• Review vendor drawings, technical documents, and fabrication deliverables.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, and constructability reviews as required.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards such as ASME, API, and project specifications.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8-12 years of piping engineering experience in oil & gas or EPC projects, including lead or supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of piping design, materials, stress analysis, and relevant international codes (ASME, API, etc.).
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proficiency in piping design and analysis software (e.g. PDMS / AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD, CAESAR II).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
