Infrastructure Design & Operations
- Design, deploy, and maintain server, storage, network, and virtualization infrastructure.
- Support on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, and capacity planning.
Systems & Platform Management
- Administer Windows and/or Linux servers, including patching, hardening, and monitoring.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) and storage systems.
- Implement and support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Network & Security Support
- Support LAN, WAN, firewall, VPN, and network security components.
- Implement security best practices, access controls, and system hardening.
- Work closely with security teams to address vulnerabilities and incidents.
Automation & Cloud
- Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting or configuration tools.
- Support cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP) including compute, storage, and networking.
- Assist with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD initiatives where applicable.
Incident & Change Management
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Participate in change, release, and incident management processes.
- Provide 24×7 support or on-call support when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with server infrastructure (Windows Server / Linux).
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
- Familiarity with storage systems, backup, and DR solutions.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with monitoring tools and system performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, CCNA, AWS/Azure certifications are an advantage.
- Experience supporting enterprise or government infrastructure environments.
