Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Roaming Desktop Engineer to deliver onsite end-user computing support across multiple client locations. This role is responsible for providing hands-on desktop,hardware, and application support while ensuring minimal business disruption and high service quality.

The ideal candidate is mobile, technically competent, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop and end-user support across multiple locations on a roaming basis
• Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and related peripherals
• Support Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating environments, including user profile and system configuration
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues
• Assist with device refresh, system rollout, and workstation setup activities
• Manage user incidents, service requests, and problem resolution within agreed SLA timelines
• Coordinate with centralized IT teams, vendors, and service desks for escalation and resolution
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and asset movements
• Support user onboarding, offboarding, and access-related requests
• Ensure compliance with security policies, operational procedures, and workplace standards

Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 1 to 3 years of experience in desktop support, EUC support, or IT field support roles
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting including laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as LAN, Wi-Fi, and IP connectivity
• Experience using ITSM or ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or equivalent
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to travel between multiple sites as part of daily operations

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting enterprise or multi-site environments
• Exposure to Active Directory user and device management
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools
• Experience supporting VIP users or business-critical functions
