Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-line technical support to staff via phone, email, chat, or in person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
- Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in accordance with IT policies.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups to ensure security and performance.
- Assist with the setup and support of audio/visual equipment for meetings and events.
- Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and inventory.
- Collaborate with the IT team on projects such as system upgrades, deployments, and security initiatives.
- Educate end-users on basic software and hardware usage.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data protection regulations.
- Any other ad hoc task assigned by Management
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an IT support or technician role.
- Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
