Engineering- Lead the industrialization of new suppliers and products, ensuring a smooth transition from development to volume production.
- Serve as the primary company representative at supplier sites, overseeing manufacturing and production activities while supporting our teams globally in driving our development & production goals.
- Support and monitor all supplier quality initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to implement and maintain quality testing procedures, ensuring components meet technical and performance requirements.
- Act as the liaison between suppliers and cross-functional teams in Singapore and the U.S., facilitating material readiness, engineering design alignment, and seamless communication.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers and establish strategic partnerships to secure high-quality materials and components that meet production requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure supplier readiness and alignment with technical specifications, cost targets, and production timelines.
- Monitor and control material inventory levels at suppliers to support ramp-up schedules and reduce material shortages.
- Analyze supplier capabilities, lead times, design for manufacturing support, and potential risks to develop mitigation strategies that prevent production disruptions.
- Support and optimize logistics for new suppliers and products, including transportation planning and customs requirements.
- Support the Supply Chain team in defining and monitoring KPIs such as supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality metrics, and ramp-up success to identify areas for process improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to align supplier industrialization activities with overall business objectives and production forecasts.
