Position: Electrical Engineer (3 Vacancies)

Salary: $5,000 to $7,000

Work Arrangement: Half site / half office (5.5 days/week)

Location: Jurong (transport provided by Project Manager at times)

Job Description

This is a full-time, site-and-office hybrid role supporting electrical engineering works for major industrial projects. You will provide technical expertise, ensure compliance with design standards, and support project execution teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders on all electrical matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in electrical engineering design reviews, technical evaluations, and compliance checks.
• Support installation, testing & commissioning activities for electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct site checks, verification works, and ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project managers.
• Assist in troubleshooting, resolving site issues, and providing timely technical support.
• Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, and testing procedures.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant electrical engineering codes and local regulations.
• Participate in project meetings, follow the Senior Manager for site inspections, and provide daily updates.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Fresh grads or 1-2 years' experience welcome).
• Experience in installation, testing & commissioning, especially with electrical equipment, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of switchgear, transformers, or protection systems is a bonus.
• Familiar with AutoCAD or similar engineering software is preferred.
• Able to supervise contractors and work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills
• Must be open to OT, site visits, and following senior management during project phases.
