This will be a 3-years renewable contract position based in Jurong West.

Responsibilities

• Architecture reviews, design discussions, and hands-on technical guidance.
• Creation of AI-powered applications that optimise resource allocation, supply chains, and production efficiency.
• Be a mentor and leader of development teams for enterprise applications (production scheduling, operations planning, sourcing & inventory analytics).
• Design and execute enterprise solution architectures using .NET C#, Angular, and microservice-based platforms.
• Defining technical direction
• Ensure engineering excellence.
• Spearhead the integration of AI/ML, GenAI, and optimisation techniques to enhance planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Responsible for the R&D technology roadmap for smart manufacturing applications.
• Enforce standards for data management, interoperability, and real-time analytics in manufacturing ecosystems.
• Engage with stakeholders to align solutions with business and operational requirements.
• Review emerging technologies and recommend adoption to maintain a future-ready manufacturing stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development and solution architecture.
• Deep proficiency with .NET C# (backend) and Angular (frontend).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Extensive knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, GenAI tools, and optimisation algorithms in planning and scheduling contexts.
• Sound understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure architectures.
• Exposure to industrial IoT and edge computing in manufacturing environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert in leading teams and driving technology roadmaps.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance innovation, feasibility, and business impact.
