Location: Tai Seng Exchange
The Pre-Sale Engineer provides technical support to the sales team and customers in the early stages of the sales cycle. This role focuses on solution design, technical proposal preparation, customer training, and ensuring thatDEYE solar and energy storage solutions meet customer requirements and project standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & Solution Design
- Provide pre-sales technical consultation for distributors, EPCs, installers, and key customers.
- Design PV and ESS solutions for residential and C&I projects, including system sizing, SLD preparation, load
analysis, and product selection.
- Review customer project designs and offer optimization recommendations.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals.
2. Customer Training & Technical Presentation
- Conduct online and onsite training sessions on Deye inverters, batteries, and energy storage systems.
- Prepare training materials, technical documents, and presentation slides.
- Deliver technical presentations during roadshows, exhibitions, and partner events.
3. Pre-Installation & Application Support
- Provide guidance on product application, installation requirements and system configuration.
- Assist customers in understanding monitoring platforms, system commissioning, and firmware updates.
4. Sales and prospecting
-Project bidding, key account development, and tender documentation.
- Participate in customer visits and technical discussions.
- Provide feedback to R&D and Product teams based on market and customer needs.
5. Internal Documentation & Reporting
-Maintain project design record, technical documents, and training reports.
- Support the development of technical FAQs, knowledge base articles, and solution briefs.
6. Track pre-sales activities and provide regular updates to management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in solar PV, inverter application, or energy storage engineering.
- Strong understanding of PV system design, hybrid/off-grid systems, and LV electrical principles.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and PV design tools (PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar) preferred.
- Good language and communication skills. Candidates must be good in both Chinese and English as he or she will be required to communicate in both languages with HQ personnel and customers.
- Strong presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Deye inverter and ESS products.
- Familiarity with monitoring platforms and commissioning procedures.
- Hands-on experience in C&I; ESS project design and implementation.
- Experience supporting distributors or EPC partners in a technical role.
