JOB REQUIREMENT
- Basic design of heat, mass balance, PFD, P&ID, process calculation for Water & Wastewater, RO, Demin, Pre-treatment, Biological, chemical, Produced Water Treatment, Desalination, Electro chlorination, Zero liquid discharge, Ammonia / Sulphate removal, Condensate Polishing etc. applications
- Sizing of equipment, vessel, tank and selection of material, instrumentation, control philosophy, cause and effect matrix, HAZOP, IPF, SIL study, IOM manual, etc
- Preparing datasheet for RFQ and review offers from sub-vendor for compliance to technical specification, Ex-d, ISA standards, codes and regulation
- Prioritizing all tendering activities and ensure all the proposals are meeting with the tender requirements.
- Managing all backup quotes, proposal writeups, material selection, tender clarification, pre-bid meeting and others tender related activities
- Understanding tender specification and propose the most cost-effective design to meet the requirements
- Ensuring quotation proposals adhere to customer and industrial requirements
- Work with commercial and various cross functional teams like SCM, Project Management, Process, Mechanical applications for supporting the bids in terms of techno-commercial costings and writeups
- Ensure all costs are captured accurately in the costing file. Review costings and technical solution with Head of Departments
- Identify potential risks in the bids, vendor quotations and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers / channels
- Responsible for handling over quotations to project team for projects won
- occasional travel to handle tender related clarifications
- Collects and archives documentation regarding the offer / order and records assumptions and decisions taken during the tendering process
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical / Environmental Engineering or equivalent
- Familiar with international standards, codes and regulations, offshore and onshore
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power Plant Industries
- Meticulous with ability to prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Have experience working with international teams
- Willing to travel
