Overall Job Purpose

Under the instructions of the supervisors, undertake any assigned jobs on-site, in the workshop and office, timely, skillfully and independently. For certain jobs, lead a team of fitters in job execution and do coordination work with clients.

Core Responsibilities

1. Carry out the testing of electrical equipment on-site, vessels on board or in the workshop.

2. Generate, compile reports and record work activities.

2. Liaise and coordinate with customer to inspect/dismantle motors and terminal cables on-site using the equipment and tools prepared.

3. Prepare risk assessment, equipment and tools required such as cranes and trolleys for on-site dismantling and transportation.

4. Perform the disassembly, maintenance and reassembly of motors to specific requirements as assigned by the supervisors.

5. Prepare risk assessment, equipment and tools for transportation on-site or vessels on board.

Qualifications, Experiences and Functional Competencies Required

1. Possess at least 2 years of work experience in the related electrical engineering industry.

2. Holds a diploma in electrical engineering.
