EngineeringKey Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of mobile devices to identify hardware and software faults.
- Utilise diagnostic tools and industry-standard testing procedures to determine repair requirements.
- Perform hardware repairs including (but not limited to):
- Screen and LCD replacement
- Battery replacement
- Charging port repairs
- Camera, speaker, and microphone replacements
- Motherboard-level repair
- Handle software-related tasks such as system updates, resets, backup/restore, and firmware troubleshooting.
- Test devices post-repair to ensure all functions are working correctly.
- Verify all resolved issues before returning devices to the customer.
- Explain diagnostic results and repair recommendations clearly to customers.
- Provide accurate repair quotations, estimated timelines, and after-service advice.
- Maintain professionalism and upload service standards during customer interactions.
- Monitor and record usage of spare parts, and report low stock levels.
- Complete job sheets, repair logs, and service records accurately and promptly.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Nitec in IT or Engineering. (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Prior experience in mobile device repair or electronics servicing is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of mobile hardware and software systems.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
