The person is report to a design engineer, he is assisting the engineer to complete the production drawings, to develop from concept to detailing.

The drawings are the main line of communication to our production foreman, welders, and quality department to fabricate all deck machinery.

Required Skill Sets

• Proficient in AutoCAD / Solidwork to develop fabrication drawings

• Diploma or equivalent education and experience (Engineering Graphics & Design Drafting, Engineering Technology, etc.)

• Understanding of fabrication/manufacturing process

• Must have basic computer skills. (Word, Excel, Record-keeping software, Outlook, etc.)

• Ability to organize and prioritize work load

• Detail-orientated, Dependable, Highly-Motivated

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with Engineer to develop detail fabrication drawings

2. Work with Welding Supervisor to create weld maps for production

3. Manage and release drawings to the production foreman and ensure they have the latest revisions

4. Ability to read through and follow customer/project-related specifications/standards
