Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists to build, repair, and test assemblies and subassemblies.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly tasks, troubleshooting, and repair activities with guidance; identify and correct errors efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and report hazards, incidents, or injuries promptly.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to evaluate assemblies and components under supervision.
• Record production data, test results, labor details, and progress in computer systems; may assist with basic software installs or programming tasks.
• Inspect incoming and in-process parts for defects and perform part audits to ensure availability and accuracy of materials.
• Document completed work, support continuous process improvements, and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards.

Education & Experience:

• Higher Nitec in Engineering
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or electro-mechanical work is an asset but not always required (depending on company level).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or vacuum systems.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, measurement equipment, and test instruments.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment interface; exposure to software installation or programming is a plus.
