EngineeringResponsibilities:
Requirements:
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, including preparing quotations, sourcing for materials, managing timelines and schedules, resource allocation planning
- Evaluate technical / engineering requirements of the jobs and review drawings
- Provide technical guidance on the selection of steel materials used
- Prepare technical documentations required for every project. Eg. Fit up inspection form, Final & Visual inspection form, mill certificates for materials, CIPL form
- Design shop fabrication drawings to client's specifications
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers to ensure project runs smoothly
- Provide timely project progress reporting to customer, communicate & inspection with QC
- Monitor work progress closely, ensuring quality and safety standards are being met
- Resolve any technical challenges that arise during the project
- Conduct RA assessment, participate in monthly safety committee meetings
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in naval architecture, structural or marine related engineering discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Offshore and Marine industry
- Able to interpret technical drawing and engineering codes and standards
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Knowledge on steel materials, fabrication methods and welding processes
- Knowledge on NDT and testing methods
- Able to work within schedule and budget restraints.
- Good communication skills, resourceful, able to multi task and a team player
- Able to work overtime
