The Site Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with the progress of the site works of the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position is, and not limited to, as follows:

• Assist the project manager with on and off-site meetings about technical issues

• Monitor and supervise, ensure compliance with the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on the quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.

• Preparation of detailed method of statements and work instructions for construction.

• Coordinates between sub-contractors/vendors/internal departments and monitors site manpower/material/equipment demands to meet schedules.

• Liaise with the Consultants on the submission related to structural works and the Technical Department.

• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material, and manpower requirements, and control the usage and wastage of all.

• Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at the site and recommend solutions to the relevant team/department.

• Ensuring that the site works are completed with high-quality standards and adhering to safety requirements throughout the project.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.

• Minimum 2- 3 years of experience in building projects or civil infrastructure projects.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and in coordination with site teams
