Job Responsibilities :

• Responsible for monitoring and advising the Contractor on the following main areas:

- Control of disease-bearing vectors and rodents

- Proper management and disposal of solid waste

- Control of noise and dust pollution

- Drainage and silt control

- Air and water pollution control

- General housekeeping management of the project / site

• Conduct regular site checks and take prompt corrective actions to ensure that the site is kept clean, tidy and hygenic at all times
• Ensure that the site is kept mosquito-free at all times
• Compile and submit environmental related data including water, electricity and diesel consumption on site, concrete wastage on site and amount of construction debris generated at site
• Compile records on any check by the Authorities (For example: NEA for noise and vectors, PUB for ECM) and the result of the checks

Job Requirements :

• Diploma / Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering or related field
• Good communication skills, oral and written
• Ability to work independently and meticulously with high level of motivation
• Certificate - Environmental Control Officer for Specified Construction Sites
• Certificate - Earth Control Measure Officer
• Certificate - Advanced Workplace Safety and Health (level B)
• Certificate - WSQ Manage Work At Height
• Certificate - WSQ Manage Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites
• Familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is an added advantage.
• Hands-on, detail oriented and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
