EngineeringKey Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Manage the team who set ups equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing
- Operate Audio/Lighting/Visual/VMix Consoles if required
- Ensure the safe storage and inventory of equipment
- Perform duties on location including liaising with Stakeholders and Clients
- Operation and resource planning for the teams
- Any other taskings to ensure project success including Internal Meeting
- AutoCAD Drawing for Technical Layouts
- P&L for Projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Hospitality or relevant work experience. Diploma holders will be considered based on experience.
- Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot a range of equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, LED screens, and various video and audio consoles.
- Familiarity with audio mixing software, video editing tools, and common video conferencing systems.
- A strong understanding of how audio and video signals travel through a system to effectively diagnose and solve problems.
- Be able to perform minor repairs and maintenance on AV equipment.
- Ability to quickly and calmly diagnose and resolve technical issues on the spot, often under pressure.
- Effectively communicate technical information to clients and team members, and possess strong listening skills to understand client needs.
- Be a strong team player who can also work independently with a high degree of self-motivation.
- A willingness to work long, irregular hours, including nights and weekends, as event schedules demand.
- Be physically fit to lift and move heavy equipment, and be comfortable standing for long periods or working at heights.
- Provide excellent service to clients and have the ability to work well with different types of stakeholders.
- A thorough approach is necessary to ensure all technical elements are perfect for an event.
